Dr. Ashok Yadav is working as Professor & Head Department of Transfusion Medicine (I.H.B.T) & Director State of Art Model Blood Bank, M.G.M Medical College & Associates Hospitals.
Teaching and working experience in field of transfusion medicine for more than 20 years.
More than 30 national & international journal publications. Received two gold medals in national paper Publications
Very good administrative and communication capability to manage all activities whether academic, administrative or professional.
Established the department of transfusion medicine with 05 NMC recognized MD seats first in Madhya Pradesh[ 2020].
With his guidance lot of research works are being undertaken in the department.
Since more than last 5 year, our blood bank is collecting the highest number of Blood Donations in M.P under his guidance and 160 Voluntary Blood Donation Camp being organized by Model Blood Bank Through Blood Mobile Bus provided by NACO/MPSACS. Upgraded blood bank to the STATE OF ART MODEL BLOOD CENTRE with collection of more than 50,000 units per year.
First To start bone marrow transplant (BMT) unit, NAT testing facility and blood irradiation unit in Madhya Pradesh.
Started many new modalities related to transfusion medicine like plasmapheresis, plateletpheresis, therapeutic procedures (red cell exchange, therapeutic plasma exchange, LDL apheresis, Granulocytapheresis).
Started a fully equipped 6 bedded therapeutic procedural IPD unit in the department.
Organized & successfully conducted TRANSMEDCON 2022, INDORE.
Experience in conducting theory & practical examinations in MPMSU for more than 18 years.
