Mahatma Gandhi Mission School of Biomedical Sciences (MGMSBS), is a unit of the MGM Institute of Health Sciences (MGMIHS) which is a Deemed University. 

MGMIHS has an attached MGM hospital operating a 900 bed tertiary care center with emergency care facilities, trauma and all specialty & super-specialty OPDs. The center has NABL accredited laboratories, laparoscopy center, modular operation theatres, blood bank & component centers, cath lab with all the infrastructural facilities and qualified faculties for quality patient care with human touch.

MGMSBS’s strength lies in a team of highly qualified and experienced dedicated faculty, supported by an equally dedicated paramedical staff. The faculties are encouraged for participating in National and International Conferences and presenting research papers, poster presentation etc. The staff members regularly conduct workshops/CME with eminent external faculty. MGM faculty have published papers in various indexed national and international journals and have won several accolades. MGM students are also engaged in short term research projects approved by ICMR & DST, etc. The college has a Central Research Laboratory which is a state of art laboratory for serology, molecular biology, immunology and tissue culture facilities.
