Fr. Shaju is an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales from India. Prior to joining DeSales University, Fr. Shaju OSFS served as the delegate superior of the Indian Mission of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales (OSFS), General Councilor of the OSFS, and a member of the Board of Trustees of DeSales University. Fr. Shaju earned his Doctor of Psychology degree in Social Cognitive approach to psychology from Salesian University (UPS), Rome. (He holds an MSc in Holistic Psychological Counseling from Bangalore University, India, and a Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics, English & Sociology) from the University of Mysore, India, Bachelor of Philosophy from Suvidya College, Bangalore (Affiliated to DeSales University), and Bachelor of Theology from Dharmaram College, Bangalore, India. ) From 2003 Fr. Shaju has taught at various places in India and Rome and conducted seminars for various groups on different topics related to psychology and counseling. He also has experience in conducting individual and group therapy.
