European Confederation of Medical Mycology (ECMM), Viatris and Medical Learning Hub welcome you to the online CME on "The Mirage of IFI." This CME focuses on the complexities of Invasive Fungal Infections (IFIs), with particular emphasis on mixed infections—an often overlooked yet highly challenging aspect of clinical infectious disease management.
The key session, “The Mirage of IFI – in Different Settings,” will be led by Prof. Jeremy Brown and will explore three real-world case studies involving bacterial and fungal, viral and fungal, and fungal and fungal co-infections. These cases will highlight diagnostic dilemmas and evolving management strategies in diverse clinical scenarios.
Following this, a panel discussion titled “Breaking the Mirage” will bring together experts including Dr. Subramanian Swaminathan, Prof. Jeremy Brown, Dr. Ankit Mittal, Dr. Neha Rastogi Panda, and Prof. (Dr.) Priyanka Samal. The panel will delve into antifungal management strategies across different settings, enriched with live audience polling to foster interactive learning. The event will conclude with an open Q&A session, allowing participants to engage directly with the faculty, and a vote of thanks by Viatris and MLH.
